Wish we had snow here...

This thread is turning into daily weather reports for international spudders.
Oklahoma weather can be absolutely crazy. Our record temperature change for one day is something like 60 degrees.

In the world of spuds today, surrounding me is nothing but blue skies :P
I could not think of a worse chore than removing tonnes of snow from my driveway, carting drywall would come damn close though.

In the world of spuds today, I've been confined indoors for more than 24 hours and at the end of my tether, damn cold & flu. I've been blowing my nose with such alarming regularity that my bin looks like I've just hosted the 2008 Furious Teenage Masturbator World Cup Challenge, I'm weak and miserable and being generally obnoxious to everyone. In a way, I've been given a look through a crystal ball to see exactly what I'll be like in 50 years time :D

I think I'll do some tests with the 6mm bust disk through the chrony, exceeding mach 1 would certainly cheer me up :)

@Nova: You could probably send it back for repair or replacement... It's a trick that a mate's mate uses.

He works in a game store, and when people come back in with damaged consoles and get store exchanges, he buys the broken consoles off the stores, then sends them back for repair/replacement himself, gets back a working console, then sells them on at half RRP, and still turns a very tidy profit.
Everyone wins, except Microsoft or whoever else built an unreliable console in the first place.
MrCrowley wrote:At least in the UK you know it's going to rain for the whole day.
Almost, but not quite. It rains on any day I had plans to build anything.
Any day I wish to video anything, it's too overcast for decent lighting, or it's too sunny and I get glare.
All UK weather is based around whatever I wanted to do, so I've stopped planning, and now I sneak up on the weather so it hasn't got time to change before I've finished doing what I was trying to.

I think we should start a "weather in the world of spuds today" thread. Today (and last night) we received 30cm of snow. It was rather annoying to remove this buildup from my 1 acre driveway, but I shouldn't complain, as the nearest city received 60cm overnight.

Yesterday there was 3 inches of snow outside, and it was 75 degrees.
Then it rained.
It's still raining.

That's the weather in ohio for you.

In the world of spuds today I got a detention in school for being ten minutes late to class along with a couple buds of mine
I get to wash desks and do anything random teachers order me to for every lunch break for half a week :( should be fun in a horrible way
And I just casted the epoxy piston for the high pressure pump I am designing and got the rod that will be attached to the piston and handle.
Also casted piston for my mini coaxial out of left over epoxy(hot glue piston broke)
And thats it.

What a coincidence that my school has almost the same punishment. Except you have to sweep the floor during the 5th grade lunch period while they ask you " What'd you do, What'd you do?" repeatedly

Well, in the world of spuds today it rained far too much for my liking, which doesn't affect what i do but might affect our primary results (ohio's was today) slightly. Working on a small coaxial and a soon to be built larger piston gun.

Edit: just realized you're also in ohio Fnord. where do you live? i'm in cincinnati
