around AUS $600 including addons and paint. But a lot of that was given to me by my parents, as they pay for a lot of my needs if its to do with school. And I have made quite a few for school. But I agree with rna-deulers that it is worth it. A lot of money, a lot of guns and a crap load of damage.

I've spent well over $1000 on spudding. I wouldn't doubt $2000. And that is probably nowhere near as much the amount many other Spudtech members have spent.

I haven't really spent that much despite building around 6 cannons and various other PVC projects such as water rocket launchers and water cannons , since PVC pipe is quite cheap here and so are the fittings. Plus I only use ball valves with my pneumatics since I cant seem to find any sprinkler valves.

However, ask me again in about 2 months and my total expenses will have doubled since I have another 3 projects planned.

Anyway, the point is that when your at the hardware store and you see something that makes you go "Ohhh, this gives me a great idea..." you ll always end up buying more than you need, it always happens to me.

They plan it like that those dam hardware stores!I go in there to get some pvc glue or something and i go to the pvc section and i am in instant ecstacey my mouth waters and my knee's go weak(not realy) and i buy all these parts i dont need but still i continue to go there and spend all my cash on a new pressure guage or another 5 propane bottles.....Its quite sad  But then again i love my cannons :P
so all is good...Ohh and yeah does anyone else get the jitters when they go to hardware stores or is it just me??? :?: :?:

At least now I know im not alone!

This one time I went in to buy 20 cable ties and ended up leaving with a half inch tee, a ball valve, and endcap and some half inch pipe. These became my first ghetto pneumatic which used a 2L bottle as a reservoir. As a matter of fact, it was that gun that made me want to take up backyard ballistics seriously.[/list]
