well I decided to make a BBMG using this design but using .177 bbs and as I had stated in a previous post I thought it would jam up and not aggitate the bbs!. Sadly this is whats happened!! :x I tired it with a spring/plunger and without,it will spit out 1 bb or so every time you depress the blowgun trigger.

I was looking forward to seeing this thing actually work but it just expells all the air right out the barrel with no bbs!?,.177 bbs must be too heavy for this design to aggitate them around the endcap= damn this sucks! I was looking forward to a BBMG that fed reliable as my Cloud pistol and Vortex rifle both work but dont feed as well as I would like. Gun was operated via my co2 set up at 130 PSI,the air inlet and barrel compression fitting are exactly 90 Degree's but it just wont feed?.

25"Stainless Barrel.
body is all 20mm pvc.
BB chamber is 5" deep.
Pistol Grip Blowgun.
Spring/Plunger.
Made in the D STYLE configuration.

wierd... should work has before... make sure your air inlet doesnt accidently have a bb stuck in it... other than that it should work, I have no clue why yours doesnt.

I took off the brass Air Inlet, there was a bb sitting in it but NOT stuck tight,I put some Steel Putty in the brass air inlet and then drilled out a hole so the bbs will not fall inside the air inlet. It did fire this time but VERY erratic!?,if the bb endcap section is only half full then it fired but just like a cloud,if its filled right up the bbs will not feed and just jam up on each other.

I know my bbs I was using have been re-used numerous times and many have small flat spots,I'll have to buy some new bbs(when I can get to the guns shop?) and see what happens then?,even at that it still should have fed.

I did get my inline vortex gun to work today though, using a spring/plunger and in that the bbs seem to slighty jam between the side of the bb chamber and the vortex block!?.When firing it does not fire the bbs in a steady stream(like my other BBMG),they fire slightly left, right,up,down?? could again be from using old bbs though?........

OMG!?!?!?!?! NO WAI?! I love to abuse question marks and exclamation points too??!
Sorry to flame you, just please only use exclamation points when you are exclaiming something and question marks when you are asking a question.

yeah i figured there was a bb stuck in your air inlet....

disformed bb's will result in a loss of accuracy, another thing is are you using the same size barrel as your other bbmg?

No I meant that the post where you quoted Lenta you did it again, and I see that as disrespectful.

welcome to the forums by the way

Respect the djangoman guys.
Django, you should probably repost some of your bbmg's from the spudtech days and leave them with a lot of questionmarks due to the exellent bondo-job... :D

I have experienced the same trouble when I went from airsoft to metal bb's.
More weight, less surface area...it's a bee-itch..

Davidvaini,

Can you explain the trigger mechanism in more detail? What parts did you use?

Thanks.

The trigger is a standard blowgun trigger that uses the back butplate of the gun to press the blowgun trigger down.
