ok so ever sinced i found out that paintball pnuematic tubing will fit on the tip of a lighter i have wanted to build a small launcher using lighters as a combination fuel injector/ fuel shut off valve/ and fuel canister. I was thinking about taking some 3/4" schedule 80 pvc pipe and drilling a bunch of holes for about 6-8 inches down the length of the pipe. after that i was gonna place the end of the pipe with all the holes down inside a soda bottle. there would be barbs placed on the bottle and all you would have to do is press the button on the lighter to fill the chamber with gas.

I am having trouble in coming up with an idea to ignite this. do any of you guys have an idea of what i can do for ignition.

use a paper clip and a bbq ignitor. not very complicated. im not going to tell you what to do with the bbq ignitor and the paper clip, thats for you to figure out.

Build the spark gap onto the sch80 piece of pipe?

You could just gently heat a couple pins and push them through the soda bottle's wall. Then, a big-ol glob-a epoxyTM (liquid nails, hot melt glue, caulk ....) on the outside of the bottle to hold the pins in place.
