yeah not one of those big gas qrill tanks but one of those propane torch tanks
Yeah, it's that important.
I'm at work, I finished my 4" x 2" coax last night, now I'm incredibly anxious, and very worried it might not work...
At least I'm working my way up this site
Oh yeah, I'm hot, dry, and I only have like 60 bucks on hand...damn teenage summers

ITWOST, I'm considering final names for HEAL 2.
I'm even thinking about calling it Níðhǫggr to annoy those of you that don't know Unicode. (And no cheating and calling it Nidhoggr).
Look it up if you don't know what it is - and yes, it's Norse in origin.
:Þ
And that Þ letter is called "thorn". Hmm, I'm totally dæmonic.

I'm sorry, but WTF does ITWOST stand for?
Well, to copy it from there, they'd need to know that link, and that's even harder to remember. ;þSpudFarm wrote:copy it from there when you want to spell it all other than ragnarok ^^

Níðhǫggr sounds pretty cool, and the meaning will probably suit heal2 lol
Ah, but it doesn't sound how it looks. It's said "Nith-hogg", because the ð letter (Eth), like thorn (þ), is more or less equivent to "th" in modern English, and the R is silent. :þtrollhameran wrote:Níðhǫggr sounds pretty cool.
As for the meaning, in the final stanza of the poem Völuspá, Níðhǫggr's arrival is supposed to herald the coming of Ragnarök - somewhat appropriate I thought.

Test fired the co-ax today.
No problems at 450psi, so I took the regulator off of the co2 bottle.
Supply gauge on the regulator was indicating about 1000psi. (it was in the 30's celsius today)
Fired one shot at full bottle pressure. That was when the o-ring parted company with my valve stem.
Can't have that. A new valve stem is in the works.
It DID do some impressive damage to a chunk of 2x4 using a 550 grain foster slug though.

I mounted some weaver type rails onto this
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/silence ... 14438.html
and redid the silencer buffer.
Its almost completely silent at 60 psi and the only noise you really hear is a small whoosh of air and the ammo hitting the target.
This cannon mostly shoots birdshot with some nice spread.
I mounted a flashlight as well.
