Hey Guys,
I was thinking of a way to make a semi-automatic which was simple. I've come up with something like my diagram below. Although I do have one problem. When you pull the trigger and hold onto it air will flow out of the barrel uncontrollable unless I let go of trigger. Any idea to where I can fix this with simple addition of materials?
The idea i took this from was Clide's Semi-Auto GB Gun. But in BB form which should be fairly air efficient, though i doubt the efficiency would be great.
Plans: Semi-Auto Airsoft

It's Nerf or Nothing.
Don't start crying when I play this as my hobby, Paintball, Airsoft and Nerf are equally good hobbies, except you can play Nerf in public. Good day! Hmph!

Try a hammer valve. That should provide you with the quick bursts you are after (although you would need to recock the spring each time...)

Look a lot similar to the design I posted in knappengineerings thread the other day, take a look at it, and see what you think, it has two pistons which would solve your problem of losing to much air if you hold the trigger down.
