Hey all, Butters here. THis is my 2nd cannon. It used to be a double barrel, but I was having some trouble with it.

5 foot, 3 inches in length. Barrel is 3 foot 3 inches, with a 2 inch bore. Chamber is 2 foot long, by 3 1/2 inches.

Now shooting frozen stuff., fruit, candles, and handfulls of gravel, rocks, or whatever I can get down the barrel.

I fired this off in my house with just some wet paper wadding in it to test the piezo, and thee ba***rd made my ears ring. I use cheap hairspray.

Not exactly state of the art, but this is how it goes..... this was before I put the piezo in and made it air tight...

This was when it was still a double barrel... shot 120 meters, but not the best shot from it.

Hope you like it!

Ill get some new vid of it now its air tight.

This was worth a few chuckles for sure. The whole ice pick routine when loading was a riot...and jamming the long nosed lighter in there for ignition....well...

Pretty self explainatory really...one question though. What in the sam-hill did you plug the end of that amputated barrel with? Where/how did you install the piezo ignition?

thanks starman. NIce avitar pic too.
This was the quickest, and nastiest spud gun you will come across! Still, now in its current format, will punch damp paper thru gyprock. Scary.

When I pushed the frozen wad down there, it went too far down, so I had to smash it back in place...The long nose lighter was because my piezo died, so it was ripped out, and I found that in y cupboard at home.

Now, that amputated barrel.... I was bored, didnt want to travel 35 minutes to the hardware store, so I found a bottle of in car cleaner that was a snug fit. Taped it in, and its holding on good so far!. Piezo is back where the long nose lighter once went.

I might make a new one this week, same specs as this one, but a bit neater

Jack, the guy at work put that pic up on my locker last week!

Yes yes please do...that whole taped-up can thing in the old barrel stump makes me nervous. In any case, I would retire this thing immediately.

Get yourself some proper bits and have another go at it.

BTW, Welcome to Spudfiles!
