hey,
Finally!!! My first combustion. Pretty plain and simple. A pezio grill sparker. A ghetto chamber fan :wink: (made from a 9v battery, a on off switch, a brushless moter from a r/c car, and a fan blade from a free handheld fan i got at a fair) .

here are the specs;
barrel: 26in. paintball barrel. and 20 by 1/2 in. barrel
chamber: 12 by 2in.
ignitior: pezio grill sparker (one spark)
grip: 1/2" tee
propellent: aussie aresol minunium hold hairspray.

Sounds like you went to a whole lot of effort to cobble together your "ghetto" fan. A basic 50 mm computer fan is all you need.

Not bad effort though...probably too much power for regulation paintball.

The circuit board is usually a camera flash ignition. You are fine hooking your fan up to a battery with not circuits. You dont need them for that.

Alot of people put the battery in a jroject box and mount the switch on it to make it look better though.

There has been some that incorporate a timer that will turn the fan off automatically rather than you doing it manually. This is obviously a luxury item.

Yes a battery, some wire, a switch and a fan is all you need. Just be sure you sre careful where you enter the chamber to make those electrical connections...preferrably in 2 layers of pvc and using tapped screw threads.
