Ok, I found an awesome plastic fan for a combustion, it's really good
and it works with only one AA battery, BUT, the diameter
of the fan is 2.5", and i have a 2.5" pvc but i planned to use
it as a barrel in my next spudgun,
but it's really long so i thought to cut it,
and take a 25" piece as a barrel, but what barrel should i use?
2" or 1.5"?
Chamber and barrel help!
You could have either really, depends mostly on what ammo you want to fire. You could always use metered propane so a 0.7:1 ratio you wouldn't need too much chamber. How long is your 2.5"?
Personally I wouldn't build the whole project around something you could get for $7.
PS. make sure it definately fits before you design a cannon around it.

Uum why? You go to the trouble of getting setup to use one of the best fuels imaginable (propane) and still want to accomodate a low end fuel (hairspray)?elad311 wrote:but i'm gonna attach the fan to the end cap so i'll be able to use hairspray too.
The fan on the end cap is fine...but please, do yourself and all of us a favor, move on and leave the hairspray on your mother's dressing room table.

You know, you can make a mounting bracket for a small fan with a spare piece of metal. You really don't want a chamber <3" anyways.
