Ok this is starting to sh!t me. I'm having absolute bugger all luck finding one of the cylinder style qev's (the same sort that BTB uses) I really hate the parker phram' style qev's aswell as the ones mcmaster sell but hey....If I have to get one of those, then I'll have to get one of those.

Any other Aussies have the same problem?

What threads do you use? if its BSP i'd go over the the UKSGC.... i'm sure you could get one shipped across for a small fee.

Yeah I'm after BSP. I'm into small bore (8mm usually) so a 3/8 or 1/2in should be fine.

Technobots do international shipping and are slightly less of a rip than the UKSGC shop. The owner is also very busy developing a new project so didn't have time to fill my recent order. Looks like spudding shops are taking a turn for the worse :(

I've found that over the last 6 months, Spudfiles has taken a serious dive in posts, finished guns and general intrest....it's a bit sad really...

Spudfiles isn't going down. It does have peaks and valleys of interest but it all averages out. I imagine the holidays are siphoning off some interest at the moment.

I have noticed somewhat of a drop in cannon postings lately. I wouldn't make much of it.

I'm planning to do a cannon in the next few weeks. Next chance won't be until Easter, because that's the next let up in my Uni schedule, so I want to take the chance.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

its a bit late to answer the question but here is a good site for small size QEV's they are currently on sale and the store is based in queensland so the shipping won't be a ripoff :D

Another thought... QEVs go by other names and the "QEV" nomenclature may simply not be used in Aussiland. It might be worth looking for "pulse" valves or "dust" valves. Those are (less popular) names for the same thing.
