Hey guys, Another item I made for the Airsoft Zombie match is a underslung attachment to go on my AK rifle. I know it is obnoxious and that is the point. Its a chainsaw bayonet type attachment. Chainsaws automatically down zombies so It will be crucial to have.

The main chassis for the chainsaw came from a chain cover off of a bicycle. I chopped the back off and reused it on the other side. I rubbed the custom fit wood with grease, red paint, ash, and dirt. I also roughed up the ducktape on purpose to give it that already been used on a zombie look.

I dont have the AKM rifle yet so I dont have pictures of it mounted. It will be mounted on it though. It will also be modular in which I can also use it as a standalone.

So do you think it fits the theme of zombie slaying?

It fits the theme, but that's just weird man, :D

A chainsaw as a bajonet...
I gotta remember that one!

If you wanna play it like that, you need to strap a shovel to your back as well, and don;t forget the fake Molotov.

I'd love to play a game like that!

I love it! I love everything to do with zombie moves and the like. My wife and I even have a pair of Mossberg 590 shotguns setup for an anti zombie mission (just incase, you never know what will happen)

I gotta say, it's creative. And wouldn't the name "Chainsaw Bayonet" be an awesome name for punk band?

The actual blade is infact cardboard and it is reinforced so it doesnt bend or anything. I wanted to make a quick cheap spare parts attachment for my AKM.

Why not use an actual stripped down chainsaw , sawblade or normal chain (like the one on your bike)?
If you can use an actual chainsaw combustion engine it would be even more awesome. (for the sound)

I was kinda hoping you'd be crazy enough to mount it on the sawed-off...

:D

Happy zombiehunting!

Nothing suits zombies more then a chainsaw and a sawed-off shotgun :D
They've got to get close range anyway. No need for accurate rifles.

That is one mean looking bayonet. 8)
I have an idea that recently came to mind:
You could dip it in some dog POOP and the "enemy" will probably run away faster than if it was a real one!!! :P

EDIT: You could tell them it's a viet cong bayonet, (They used to put poop on pungee spikes & spinning bear trap spikes to cause infection)

"Procrastination" is five syllables for "Sloth".
