Well, while looking for new/exciting bits of PVC piping on the web, I ran across a sit featuring plumbing for spas and hot tubs. To say the least, I see some very fun possibilities for a few of the things here:

I hope you all like these...I believe I'm going to try and find one of these locally. A 4-way 3/4" into 2" could be very handy for net launching, or making a very slick 2"double barrel launcher.

Well, in the interest of the spudgunning public, I'm going to try and locate a hot tub parts distributor in the area, and do a little research. With any luck, they'll prove to be high-density solid PVC without any sort of stress risers in the design. I will report back when I have further information.

C'mon. You can't sit there and honestly tell me this wouldn't be fun for a barrel. And, by looking at it, it looks like it would work out just nicely.
I will agree that some of those fittings don't look to be pressure rated, but some of them look like they could handle something.

Based on the depth of the connections I would say that they could handle some pressure but due to the irregular shape, not very much. For example with a net gun the pressure would be distrubuted evenly through out all five or six barrels. Also the barrels wouldn't have to be that long anyway. This is just an observation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay...I found a hot tub repair place that let me look around their supply room, and picked up a 2" to 3/4"x5, as well as a 2" to 2"x2 for a grand total of $15.01 for the pair. Interestingly enough, build quality seems to be better than expected. Let's get down to the measurements.
The 3/4"x5 manifold has an overall length of 4", starting w/ a 2" socket that's 35mm deep with 4mm thick walls. This smoothly transitions to five 3/4" sockets that are 38mm deep with 3mm thick walls. Also, there is a reinforcing rib running around the base of the five sockets, and the interior of the fitting includes a cone leading to the bores of the five sockets. Also, there are internal ribs cleanly cast into the fitting between the bores of the 3/4" sockets.
The 2"x2 manifold has an overall lenght of 6", starting with a 2" socket that's 40mm deep w/ 3mm thick walls, again, the transitions are fairly smooth, with a reinforcing rib running alongside the flares to each of the 2" sockets. There is an additional reinforcing rib running between the 2" sockets. The inside o the fitting is cleanly divided, with no major obstructions to be seen. It terminates in a pair of 2" sockets that are 44mm deep with 4mm thick walls.
I have to say, build quality is good, socket depth is fantastic, and thickness is more than adequate for most combustion or pneumatic uses. They are a bit bulky, but hey, if you want 5 3/4" barrels, or a really tight 2" double-barrel, I think it's more than worth it.

Sounds good! If you are willing to spend the money, you should pressure test it (hydrotest) to find out the bursting pressure.

Okay, got a few barrels built. You can see in the picture, there's a 3/4"x5 barrel at the top, which certainly looks menacing. In the middle is a 2"x2 barrel, which looks more menacing from the barrel end. At the bottom is a piece of sleeved SDR21/Sch80 GB barrel. I say, it looks darn good.

I think somebody on this site posted a cannon with multiple 3/4" SCH-80 barrels. I'll have to dig it up another time, though, as my usual search techniques aren't turning up anything...
