I was playing with my mini combustion and though that maybe I could propel a dried pea out of a small tube. I sprayed down the tube and the pea went about 5 feet. Not far but It got me thinking could a bbmg be powered by a can of aerosal? The only problem I can see is residue left by the aerosal but then I thought ah maybe a combustion effect could be added somehow? Maybe ignite it which would A) produce more pressure and B) burn off some residue but also create some which would just mean cleaning occasionally. This would obviously be best for a cloud. It probrably wouldnt work but im desperate as I do not have a compressor and Im saving up for a new rifle (real).

http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=1272887 This is how the tippmann c3 works, mabey you can build it similar to this but simpler.
Forever dreaming...
As I've stated before, I built an aerosol spray-powered rifle a couple of years ago. It used 4.5mm (.177) lead diabolos and could embed them in cardboard/soft wood planks. It used a lousy blowgun as the valve, so it was pretty limited. Also, the size of the actual chamber was very small (about 2cc). Well, my resources were very scarce back then.
The most important fact to consider: a spray can's valve is no good to use directly (unless you're using something like 1mm cal), as it has very little flow. The aerosol needs to be stored in a chamber, then released to the barrel by a suitable valve (sprinkler, QEV, piston etc.).
So it won't be good enough to use in a cloud BBMG. A more efficient design, like the Tipp C3 or any paintball marker, would be fine.
I just measured the pressure in my deodorant and it was 44 PSI. I used a 500 ml bug spray can for my rifle and it's pretty cost-effective if you're too lazy too use a bike pump or need fast refilling (like in BB or paintball games). Plus, it's very flammable. That opens up a whole new group of options.
If I could just find a 4.5mm barrel I'd build another one in no time at all. Any suggestions?

Good mornin' to ya. You DO realize we're talking about a pneumatic here, right?!
I presume you mean Diethyl Ether, which indeed would be nice especially for a mini, since it has a wide explosive limit (1.9 to 36%). Ethylene is similar. But is it worth the effort/price?!

That tipman looks really good, quick loading pump action combustion! Thanks for the info, I might try to make a mini pneumatic like yours Fiveseven and maybe the combustion someother time.

Update: bought one of those 500ml bug spray cans today. Measured the pressure to 72 PSI, so I'm definately gonna go with that for my pneumatic.
A 270ml butane can has 80 PSI, but it's twice as expensive (2$ for each, but the latter has little more than half the volume).
