Hello, i just bought a pvc union, and i'm attempting to use cardboard burst disks in the union, and when i fire it, all of the air releases around the burst disk. I only once sucessfully fired a decent shot, with a burst disk with a cross cut in it so it would have a fail point but it only worked once.

What do you guys do for your burst disks in the unions, and what material do you use? And how should i go about making a cardboard burst disk to work in a union?

Any help would be great! Thank You.

Trow the cardoard out and use alumium foil, also have a look at the wiki, lost of useful info there.
