When i say this all that came to mine was "KURWA". This sure must be capable of holding eanoth air for a huge amounts of shots! Good job. How many shots do you get out of a fill like this?

....a lot

the tank itself is ~10L and the gun in its current setup has 100 ccm volume... so it gives a lot of shots with little pressure drop

I think it would make a nice source for a high pressure BBgun but right now I don't have time and funds to spend on it

I am planning to increase tank capacity by adding more 7 meter lenghts of pipe... but I suppose that 20 L would be enough

now that my setup has a tank I can finally add one more fridge compressor to increase filling time...

well it's just a normal 1.5" 40 sch galvanized pipe... 500 psi is the max pressure I am going to use with it

I'll try to keep editing this post when I'll have something new

Here is something you might find useful... it's a starting relay with an inbuilt undercurrent protection

Most fridges already have one of these (or similar)... in case the fridge compressor doesn't work or has problems with starting up the part might be responsible for this (or simply the motor is broken)

I bought it at a shop selling spare parts for home appliances... it's exactly the same as the one I found on the internet (and provided a link to it somewhere on spudfiles)... the only problem was that they charged twice as much for it but it's kid of normal that stuff on the internet is cheaper...

if you can - buy one - even as a spare

you might find it useful one day because those already installed on compressors have tendency to break down (at least that's my experience)
besides they are quite cheap and they help to do wiring neatly and safely

you attach it directly to the 3pins on the compressor body... if you can't find them this means that there is one already attached to them so you 'll have to remove it (lol I know it's obvious.... and why do I write alongish post just to show two pics?!)

I've just combined two fridgy's!

I stacked 'em and bolted them together.
An 8 mm copper hardline connects the airflow.

Now I have a " tower of power" 8)

This thing gives me twice the flow and that certainly reduces filling time to a very reasonable period.
I'm thinking of housing it in a box, with just the switch, hose and gauge on the outside..

I choose not to put them inline, as I think 900 psi is plenty.
I just wanted to get it filling faster, so I put them parallel.
Still very quiet!

Thanks again Poland, for pointing out these compressors to us!

When I connect my new fridge compressor to the 1.5" with 1" inch sprinkler valve I've been toying with it doesn't seal the valve for some reason(?)...
It seems to have volume and maybe even too much pressure, but for whatever reason(?) it won't work.

I connected the small (high side) copper pipe to a fix-a-flat can hose with a small hose clamp. But when I turn off the compressor it simply flows back through(out) the intake tube.

Guess I need to solder a ball valve on there.
I am sure I will need a stronger fill method since the fix-a-flat tube is weak.

I connected the fix-a-flat tube filler to a propane tank instead.

Also I just got a water cooler with about the same size compressor that is brand new. My Friend I got it for does'nt want it because he says it uses as much electricity as a whole refrigerator, so I would like to parallel the two like BTB mentioned.

BTW, in America on CB radios we say something like "Roger that Good buddy 10-4, over and out" .
But someone told me in Poland they say "5-2, 5-2" instead of "10-4", Like "10-4 Good buddy", then Polish guy says: "5-2, 5-2 Good buddy!" just wondered if it's true(?) :P

Anyhow, thanks for the fridge compressor how-to again!. 8)

@thunderlord
1" inch sprinkler valve I've been toying with it doesn't seal the valve for some reason(?)...
I don't know... apparently it needs higher flow
But when I turn off the compressor it simply flows back through(out) the intake tube
I've heard that one should add a one way valve on the air output port but I know that there is already one inbuilt there and it has always worked 100% perfect for me
fix-a-flat tube is weak
well maybe you should find something else... I don't know what materials and pressures you use on your guns but either get a pop off valve or use a short lenght of a rather weak airhose (or well you could use a union with a burst disk)

things doesn't happen the way you want so it's good to have something that can fail first... this is really important then you want to use propane tanks as an air reservoir becasue compressor can generate pressures higher than their rated pressures..

I had several potentially dangerous situations... for example a couple of weeks ago I turned the compressor on and went to do something else but I forgot that it was still running... when I got back my 20 meter airhose has increased its diameter by about 50% and still there were several liters of air in the tank....
lol I had a hard time deciding whether to come closer to turn it off (risky) or not... when I turned it off the pressure was 40 bar
yeah I know it was dumb...

then Polish guy says: "5-2, 5-2 Good buddy!"
well I am not into CB radios... but 10-4 is easier to prenounce in english than 5-2 in polish so I don't think it's used.. besides I couldn't find and refference to it when I googled it... well you know, if you can't find something in google it doesn't exist

THUNDERLORD do you actually no if your fridge compressor is working correctly by that i mean have you tried pressuring something without the valve on it, because i no when i finally found a fridge compressor the blood things check valve was broken. (i guess that's why it was on the hard rubbish) i hope you can fix your problem

I suggest using a 110 VAC pressure washer into a vertical cylinder to compress the air at the top at over 1,000 PSI.

hmmm that's rather surprising... so far I've used 3 of them and all of them could generate high pressures... my only guess is that some models offer higher flow but at lower pressures... of course yours might be damaged...

POLAND_SPUD: Were yours all compressor able to get to 40bar or more? :D
