Small disposable propane tanks?
Does anyone know where to get those really small propane tanks? I remember seeing one on a cannon on this site a few months back, but 12 pages of search results turned up nothing. The cylinders are smaller than normal welding type propane tanks.

I am working on a pistol type cannon design. What are the threads on those? It said 3/8-24, but that is not very specific. Are they regular 3/8 NPT threads? Also, how much propane do those store in comparison to normal propane cylinders?
3/8-24 is very specific. it means 3/8 size and 24 teeth per inch. this is not pipe threads but standard threads you would find on a bolt

I would see if I could find a 3/8"-24tpi tap, and then drill and tap a 1/4" or 3/8" pipe cap. That way you could go to the regulator with a nipple and the cap.
