did you say it can go up to 40bar?isnt that metric version of PSI as i live in New Zealand and NZ uses that, 10bar is 1000kpa and 700kpa-102psi so 40bar is 4000kpa which is like 600psi...isnt it? :D

edit:just saw frogys post as i didnt know there was a 2nd page woopz

Yes, it's exactly 580.150951 PSI which doesn't sound safe to me but...

Anyway, MrCrowley why did you go though the trouble of converting bar to kpa and then kpa to psi when you could just type "40bar in psi" into Google and have your answer.

because i use kpa/mpa and bar as New Zealand uses it so its easy for me to do and i thought i would explain it umm yeah thats it... :D
i dunno its just how i do it, i dont see bar/mpa/kpa as 3 different units i see them as one kinda thing....some guy im buying my valve from said the pressure rating is 1mpa=10bar=1000kpa=145psi

edit:i dont need no internet converter i know psi/bar/kpa/mpa :D im my own converter 8)

Carl didn't understand that MPA and KPA were varients of bar

Google Def's:
pascal: a unit of pressure equal to one newton per square meter
bar: a unit of pressure equal to a million dynes per square centimeter
psi: a unit of pressure equal to one pound per square inch
psig: Pressure referenced to ambient air pressure

My definitions:
pascal: N / (cm*10^2)²
psi: Lb. / in²
pisg: a unit of pressure equal to one pound per square inch above atmospheric pressure

I couldn't fine information on these, but I know how they work so I just made a table that anyone can refference to...

1 Bar = 29.529 inHg (inches of Mercury)
1 Bar = 14.5037 psi
1 Bar = 100,000,000 mPa (millipascals)
1 Bar = 100,000 Pa (pascals)
1 Bar = 1,000 hPa (hectopascals)
1 Bar = 100 kPa (kilopascal)

1 Psi = 0.0689475729 Bar
1 Psi = 6,894,757.29 mPa
1 Psi = 6,894.75729 Pa
1 Psi = 68.9475729 hPa
1 Psi = 6.89475729 kPa

1 Pa = 0.000145037738 psi
1 Pa = 1.0 × 10-5 Bar
1 Pa = 1000 mPa
1 Pa = 1 Pa
1 Pa = 1/100 hPa
1 Pa = 1/1000 kPa

I have an interest in this gun because you used the material and kind of pressures I would have liked to use.I would like to know how it turned out.
