Those would be great! thanks Tech. I also added a protractor on the bipod, now i just need some field test or GGDT readings to figure out distances

Do you think they use DCVs and Fridge compressors as well?
Well, if there are air cylinders then there have to be DCVs for controlling them

Have you tried beer cans (if they fit ?) or energy drink cans?

EDIT
There are also some bragging rights when you own a pair
yeah especially if they are yellow and fluffy :D

beer cans would not fit, but energy drinks may. I'll look into this.

I wish i could run GGDT on the computer, but I can't, so I'll wait for field tests

I found a new ammo for this gun, and I don't think it hs ever been used in this small of a bore before

here you can see it in size comparison with a 2" coupling and a NERF mini vortex:

It actually fits inside my 2" bore cannon, its a little hard to push down, but its so fun to fire

This actually reminds me of the mortar I built a while ago, then deconstructed for parts. Mortars may have a terrible C:B ratio... but shoot at a 45 degree angle, and be amazed at your range. Actually, because of air resistance, a lower angle is probably best.

LOL it would be cool to record on high speed and see it come out the barrel... looks like fun!

as far as distance wise saefroch, I can get about 150 yards at 80psi and a fairly low angle. How did I measure this? I have an 200 yard spool of fishing line that ran out on an 80psi shot with a NERF vortex.

Gun Freak, Its cool to watch, since I "take all the air out" of the ball to fit it in the second it exits the barrel it is nearly full size again

I actually shot my mortar all the way down my street. Probably about 150 yards, but I never bothered to check. If you get this one up to 150 psi you'll be amazed at how loud it is.

I took it to 160, not all that loud, more of a low pitched thump sound as expected from mortar. It shot a clementine way out of site, it was awesome

If you had a bigger chamber it would certainly be louder. How fast do you think it shoots a vortex and a clementine?

Yea, so thats a plus. I don't like loud cannons, if I wanted ear splitting I'd shoot a real gun. I have no idea on the velocity, and I can't GGDT it, but I suppose a local paintball place would let me check its velocity to see if it is field legal.

oh I see! its pretty funny that he expects at least a few tennis ball launches everytime I take the gun out  . Its great because full sized tennis ball don't go very far at all, but they are more than far enough to give my dog a good run.
