Just a quick hello, this is my first post.
Heres my first project:

I've wanted to build a potato gun since I could remember. I started with the 3/4 small bore, cheap, easy, quick, and it works great. Its MAP powered and fuel is injected in the chamber via rubber plug(no screwing on and off a cap) I'll probably build a 1/2"er before I go bigger.
Small one sucks though. Its was a good plan; direct fuel injection, piezo spark and even has a riffled barrel. I've seen some videos of pill bottle guns working great. I think my spark is week so Ill beef that up and try again.

why do you think your spark is weak? If your not getting reliable ignition, the first place to look is how much fuel your'e putting in
Admittedly, small scale combustions seem to be a dead end, not enough pressure to for smaller barrels can be generated by most fuels at atmospheric pressure
I've had some fun with a midsize plinker myself:
it's a lot of fun turning potatoes and apples into a fine mist in your spare time

Thanks!
linuxexorcist,
My 3/4"er works good, I don't remember even having a misfire. I love it too, it seems like there's a lot of ammo options for the small guns; everything from marshmallows to marbles to snap and pops.
Its my super mini film can gun that sucks. I even beefed up the wiring last night and still cant get a consistent ignition.
