Wtf crack are you smokeing? The M1 Abrums is the most effect tank in the WORLD. It is the most powerfull in everyway. And yea Milhrad that would be sweet.SpudStuff wrote:why would you want US military stuff it constly fails and then all other countries would hate you
Dream cannon
Sadly, the m1a1 main battle tank, thought it is the most effective tank in the world, and spudstuff you need to do research before you postwhore, it gets about half a mile per gallon or less lol... but they can hit like 40-45 mph which is pretty impressive for a 10-20 ton monster.

i want a roof rack mounted semi auto pneumatic controlled by 2 pneumatic cylinders for tilt and one jack screw for pivot, with a camera, a angle sensor, and a full contol panel for the passenger seat of the car. i also want it hidden until i decide to use it. it will be cool to have it respond to honks, and point at the honker.

Hmm, I would probably build 0.45 cal rifle with sch 80 pipe with a 2 inch piston that fires at 1000fps or more and being easily switched between semi-auto and automatic with a 30 round magazine and has a recoil absorbing stock, bipod, scope, and laser.

My dream cannon would have some kind of a 4' diameter by 12' chamber all high strength steel possibly reinforced with 2 or 3" of carbon fiber reinforcement and then pressurized with Pure O2 and hydrogen to as high as the tank could hold. Then to a 4" barrel or something I don't know whatever won't constrict the flow to much lol. Id be hoping to put things at mach 3 or higher. To bad it will never happen

I would like that sweet purple gizmo in Brian's avatar that the kid's holding as my dream cannon. Operate it at 1 atm, filled with a super-advanced mixture of 21% oxygen, 79% nitrogen and miscellaneous gases, and rolled from a 40* angle so that it reaches a terminal rolling velocity of about 50 feet per second.
a cannon that fires you 100 feet (30 meters) into a lake wouldnt kill you. Not with a 45 foot (14 meter) barrel anyway. youd only have to shoot at like 15 m/s, which isnt a huge amount faster than an olympic sprinter, and thats quite a distance to do it in.
BTW 1000 gs is accelerating at 9800m/s/s, or 35280km/h/s. It should be obvious even if you disagree with what i said above, that that is somewhat overexagerated.

That's my son and the toy car he's holding is from a show called Tractor Tom.
He was nuts about it at the time.
At the moment he ( aged 3!!) askes me if I'll build him a crossbow while he shoots me with the rubber band gun I made for him.
I don't know where he gets those idea's from hahahaha

Have you made 4" piston valves? Or is this just if you are able too?WOW!! wrote: ...with 4 of my 4"piston valves...
I would never, EVER want to deal with a 100' 2" barrel... a true PITA to transport, load ammo, store, support, etc....
My dream cannon would use dual 6" SCH 80 chambers, each 5' long. They would be connected to a tee using dual 4" piston valves (3" porting), unless I am able to upgrade my piston valve size to 6" with 4" porting (haven't attempted to do this yet)
The tee would be 6". It would allow the usage of interchangeable barrels. There would be a 6" SCH 40 X 10', 6" SCH 80 X 10', 4" SCH 40 X 15', 4" SCH 80 X 15', 3" SCH 40 X 20', and 3" SCH 80 X 20'.
All of these barrels would be annoying to transport and stuff. But because the whole setup is flat, it could simply be mounted to a large piece of plywood.
I just checked, and I could build this project (with just the 6" SCH 40 X 10' barrel) for just under $600.00. Its a lot, I know... but is it inconceivable ?
