hello i just recently finished my bbmg and i want to make it portable. My current plan is to get a 20 oz co2 tank with the kolbat co2 regulator i would post a link but im not sure how to. My question is if i set the psi 100 will the co2 tank last long enough for a practical day of play which for me is around 4 hours and in that time i proably cycle through 6000 bbs. im asking this because im short on money and i dont want to spend a fourtune on refils. Im sorry if this question has been answered because ive been searching everywhere for one. Thanks ahead of time!

Ive never actually used one but I think I read one guy was getting about 2000 rounds per tank.
That is all.

my 3000 psi HPA tank will last aprox 3.5 minuets of continuous firing at a regulated 80psi.

the metal parts get VERY cold and form ice. so constant firing is NOT recommended without a metal air tank/breech/vortex block.

pvc is very temperature sensitive, and prone to shattering at cold temps. DO NOT use pvc in a HPA or Co2 cannon, or, if you do, limit the firing of full auto bursts to a few seconds at most.

Hope that helps.

Ask irisher.

I recommed looking through the wiki and this thread in order to optimise the efficiency of your BBMG and getting the most of your shots - if you can get a launcher to give you the performance you want at 50 psi instead of 100, that's already a massive increase in shots per tank.

If only such a thing existed!

thanks for the help so far guys but i got another issue you guys might be able to help me with. i got a adapter from asa to 1/4 inch male hes also offering to sell me a 3000 psi hpa tank with a output of 400 psi i just so happen to have a regulator that will fit on to this. unfortuntly i discovered something of concern when looking at the stats of the regulator it said its maxxium psi is 160 this confuses me becuase it regulates 0-160 psi so does that mean it cant handle more the 160 psi or that it can only allow that psi through it?

That would be my first guess, can you post a pic of it or make and model number?

I don't think that's the sort of reg you're looking for, it seems to regulate airflow rather than pressure if you catch my drift.

This is the type you're looking for.

I would say play it safe and go for a paintball reg.

I use dual fire extinguishers, unregulated at 150 psi it will shoot for 20 seconds.
