Ok, since my parents are being [redacted], I am will to take this risk. Does anyone have old airsoft guns they do not use at all, that they are willing to give me? I do not mind if they are broken or non functional, for what I want to do is completely different. I am making I guess what you could call a documentary for my freshman high school project, (home schooled which is why I can pick what I want), and I chose airsoft. I need them for both design ideas, and props. If you can help, or let me know where I can find airsoft guns free in alabama, that would be perfect!

Nobody's going to mail you their airsoft guns for free. Go mow some lawns or do something to get cash to buy your own. If you're homeschooled why do you need to do this project anyway?

Yet again, my parents. My mom has this "Theory" that doing this assignment will help me out in the long run. It really wont. Not for what I want to do. I cant buy airsoft guns, parents wont let me. Mowing lawns wont help in any way. I don't mind if someone sends me a broken gun, I just need them.

I know, its stupid. They allow me to use airsoft guns, upgrade them for friends, borrow from friends, but I cant BUY my own. Me and a friend who is also a home schooler are doing the project, he owns 4 guns and thats how I am able to do the project.

My parents arent exactly gun lovers, but my dad was in the military and he supports my pneumatic projects for some reason. Don't ask me how they work, I have no clue. If you guys cant ship anything, like the bodys of guns, help my figure out a way to convince them to let me buy my own guns.

At least you can buy airsoft and stuff. I cant even buy it, no matter how hard I try. My only other way of getting it is to ask a friend to buy it for me, and then have him "give it to me as a birthday gift" or something like that. Once I tell them that pneumatic cannons are much more dangerous than airsoft, I wont get to use any type of gun. I hope you guys can see my problem.
@Crowley, sorry, did not know it was considered racist.

Something about this doesn't sound right to me.
All I can suggest is to get crafty with a block of wood or foam and some paint.

Yet they don't ban you from possessing or using airsoft guns, which indicates that they don't believe them to be particularly dangerous. If the situation you describe is accurate, you're probably seeing the opposite thought processes from what you think you are - they see your relatively energetic and low-priced pneumatics, and don't want you wasting money on a relatively anemic and overpriced airsoft gun.Once I tell them that pneumatic cannons are much more dangerous than airsoft, I wont get to use any type of gun.
You need to think your arguments through more clearly. Also, if your friend already has four, I can't see the difficulty in completing the project. I'm with PVC Arsenal on this one - you're omitting something important, or adding in inaccurate information.
Also, in your defense, while racial stereotyping is, from all evidence I've seen, a faulty concept, the cultural stereotype which you probably intended is quite accurate, although the situation you refer to is exacerbated in current times by a combined effect of terrible schooling systems, low average income and significant overpopulation in the area the cultures in question inhabit.

DYI, the difference between the four he has, is they are new, and he does not want me modifying them till the gear box's give out or something. Thats the problem. I give up on trying to explain my problem on buying them, I just need broken (i.e non working) airsoft guns. The only thing I need out of them, is the barrel, the body, the magazine, and the hop up. Any AEG gear boxes you can keep.

Would they be ok with you buying broken airsoft guns, or the shells. Ebay sometimes has broken guns for parts, at one point I think airsplat sold broken guns for props as well.
That is all.

They all do, mega store, airsplat, everything. I have done my research, and looked through bone yards and what not.

So your parents wont let you buy even a shell? I guess then a Nerf gun shell might work.
That is all.
