Anybody recommend anything that would work well as ammo? i normally use small screws and bolts but they tumble in the air and are very inaccurate.
my barrel is roughly 6-7mm inside diameter.
ball bearings are hard to find and generally roll inside the barrel
i would prefer not to have to buy anything online.
suggestions?
thanks
Recommended ammo? 6mm barrel.

Is casting projectile out of lead an option? Otherwise a bolt and some hot glue or epoxy can make a suitable slug, and casting in a section of barrel material itself ensures a perfect fit.

Cut a short section of barrel material, put it on a hard smooth surface, drop a suitable bolt in head first and fill the tube with hot glue. Make sure the inner surfaces of the tube are lubed up with something slippery first to help extraction.jmez1996 wrote:how would the hotglue/epoxy slugs be made?

A bb is a ball bearing, just plastic... You can use popcorn, I know it sounds stupid but if it fits it will work. I am planning on buying a 50 pound bag both to use as ammo and to eat
I just tryed that about 5 minutes ago it doesnt work but what does if you take a screw and put hot glue on it and mold it with your fingers till it has an arrow look, and put in gun and shoot!!!jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:Cut a short section of barrel material, put it on a hard smooth surface, drop a suitable bolt in head first and fill the tube with hot glue. Wow... That took me a good minute to figure out what you were trying to say. Please use proper grammar.jsefcik wrote:I just tryed that about 5 minutes ago it doesnt work but what does if you take a screw and put hot glue on it and mold it with your fingers till it has an arrow look, and put in gun and shoot!!!

If you get metal ball bearings you can put a magnet on the barrel so the ball bearing dont roll out and if you live in Adelaide Australia you can buy bbs from brickworksbbs might be good but i cant buy them where i live and dont ball bearings just roll in the barrel?
