This deserved a new thread
So basically this one is similar to v1 except it uses a different type of piston and i made it with out that ugly outer barrel that i had on v1. its also a bit more powerful
Specs:
Main valve: Hot glue piston with a Nerf dart tip as the sealing face (screwed it on)
pilot: schrader
barrel: 4mm (unfortunately plastic )
chamber: crayola marker
firing pressure: yes, again, 150 psi
Here it is:
without it's disguise:
the screw holding the nerf tip to the piston:
It also serves as a tiny nerf gun

That shot was made 5 mins after filling. As you can see it has NO leaks
It passed the idiot fooling test (i asked my friend if it looked like a marker) I was trying to make it look like one of those double sided markers (yes they do exist) and it turned out pretty good.
I was very surprised at the result of this test:

Is this the smallest shotgun round ever???!!!
proper fps testing to come... :

...... you must be kidding right?firing pressure: yes, again, 150 psi
besides from that, looks like a normal marker with a barrel sticking out..
makes me wanna finish off my coaxial, which was a failure.

hahahha ya thats what everyone says. dont get down if your co-ax doesn't work on your first try. This is actually a v3. the first was a total failure, the second worked fairly well and it wasn't until this one that i got it just right. good luck!

Good job, but you should really consider stronger construction and use of a shock pump, the difference in power will be a revelation.

remember, I live in thailand and it's extremely hard to find anything pvc, copper, or steel here. (actually i lied about the pvc but non of it is rated ) higher pressures would be great though. My wood shop teacher does have some small id copper which would be great for a hp pen gun...jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:Good job, but you should really consider stronger construction and use of a shock pump, the difference in power will be a revelation.

You don't need any of those, all you need is brass and epoxypneumaticcannons wrote:I live in thailand and it's extremely hard to find anything pvc, copper, or steel here.
