This is more aesthetic help than mechanical. I am hopefully going to build a piston valve sniper, and I just needed some help as to what to make the sniper look like.

My question is, would it look better inside of a airsoft sniper body? Or should I buy an actual rifle stock?

Do you need a stock at all?

Something like the BFG-50 is basically built around a tube and is, in my humble opinion, extremely sexy.

:o Perfect! Thanks jack! I could simply buy a bone yard M4 butt, use pvc as the barrel shroud, and make a bondo body. Nice!

I agree with JSR here. I think that you should build around a tube. I also agree with JSR that the BFG(Does that mean Big F#king Gun?) is sexy.

Another suggestion would be to model it after a soviet PTRD.

Wow, it just looks like a wire frame model. But still, it looks good. I may try it. Right now I am working on a couple of different projects, but this is still on my to do list.

Surely it means "Biggest Finest Gun" like the Magnum Research did with their "Big Frame Revolver" ;)

They do do some very nicemuzzle engraving :)

That looks like it was made out of a punch of pipes because it was, good old Russian engineering :)

Indeed :)

That's how Russian arms are. Simple, effective, and deadly.
