I've tapped all of my mags in my Tanaka m700, and they cost 90 bucks a piece. If you don't want to tap it, then just buy some green gas online.
Also Gun freak, He has a NBB pistol so there is no wearing of the slide at all. In fact, on hot days, propane/green gas can get up to 200 psi.
Yeah, it's that important.

Warhead do you have a drill press and an npt tap set?

Nope on the drill press, but I do have taps. I can do it by hand, I have done alot of angle drilling before, so it won't be too hard.
