I have to ask, why solid? That is going to be heavy for a piston. I understand your after strength, but it doesn't have to be solid. I can do it any way you want it. It's up to you but think it through before committing to it. There's all ready plenty of intel here for studying.

I would want you to send me all the materials for a faster turn around time. Plus your only paying for shipping and labor. That really simplifies things...

How does $10.00 a piston sound? That's with you supplying everything. I'll throw in a cylinder truing so you will have positive seal all the way around.

Interesting... have tried to make one like that myself but had some problems (I had mentioned it some where). How much would a 1/4 one cost? Note that I need a very very tiny gap for high mix, like 0.2 mm

Forgive my ignorance, but what does a barrel weight do? is it to compensate for recoil?

JSR, how much would it cost me to have you machine this part for me?

Image

preferably machined out of some black plastic, tolerances aren't very tight except for the OD wich needs to be 15.95-16.05 mm.

Other sizes are just rough guidelines :D

I haven't found a local source for black delrin so that would be 12 euro posted, 8 euro posted for white delrin. The question is time, travelling for work in a few days and will be back to my tools at the beginning of March so you might have to wait until then.
