I'm aware that the gun control situation in your part of the globe is pretty dire, however I don't think a simple stock could be construed to be an imitation firearm of any description. You could be as culpable as whoever sold an individual the QEV, the blowgun etc. ie not really.

If you were selling to the US for example you would have no problems whatsoever in most states even if you sent a completely assembled pneumatic.

Just my two cents, not trying to nudge you towards breaking the law but I think its an easy opportunity to make a few bucks and help the hobby at the same time.

The onus is usually on the person found to be in possession or using the item as opposed to where it actually came from, just be careful

Indeed, possesion of a Class R (full auto anything, bar rubber band guns) is several years in your local correctional facility, but distributing them in some quantity, falsifying declarations, and being in possesion of the parts, is quite a bit longer in Barwon. (This states' "big house", all the bad boys go there, like drug barons and such).

Hoggin out some dead weight on the back of this piston. Using a 2" boring head and a carbide tip cutter. jsefcik's piston valve. The way that it's put together (sealing face past the mid point) this configuration should open better. Multiple surfaces to push the piston back (toolies style) and drum in the rear for stability.

Who ever built the valve housing did a good job, only 2 places for improvment that I can see. 1: Sealing face should be centered and 2: the cylinder should be trued (made round and straight).

Multiple surfaces to push the piston back (toolies style) and drum in the rear for stability.

In practice, these surfaces cancel out so it doesn't make it more efficient than a "solid" valve. Weight saving certainly helps though!

No, that was me grabbing the camera. It was sitting on the cross slide beside the tool post so I grabbed it while turning the tail stock handle. Everything moves at once if you look close at the chuck it moves right with the piston.

Not sure if this belongs here, basically it is machined...

Made this yesterday/today using Tonis wood lathe for rough work, the final sanding and buffing i did with my own axis drill just 15mins ago.

Its e-cig drip tip from mammoth molar
