im wanting to make a combustion with an ignition switch maybe 20-30feet away from the gun, and my question is could a bbg ignitor carry the charge for that distance? i dont think it could but i may be wrong
and if it cant can a taser do it?
thanks

Wouldn't it depend on the wire? I think copper wire is a better conductor, but I'm not sure.

If you used single strand thick copper then both will do it.
If your getting chased off a police dog, try not to run through a tunnel then onto a small see-saw then through a ring of fire. They are trained for that!

Deko,
If you use a stungun, don't run the full voltage of the stungun through 30 ft of wire; you don't need to. Mount the stungun circut on the gun (with the main outputs hooked up to your spark gaps of course), and run 30 ft of wire for your remote ignition to the on/off switch of the stungun (which uses less than 12 volts, instead of 100,000). I've run the on/off switch through 50 ft of thick speaker wire or lamp cord with no problems. This is much safer, as you don't have to run the full voltage through the long lines. Speaker wire also works great for this, and is cheap.
Peace,
Pete Zaria.
