they didn't weld it shut...they only stuck finger in it, but I agree it does seem fake

After they busted the finger myth, they tried to make the barrel peel like a bannana. They rammed a steel spike in the end of the barrel then welded it in.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.
