imjustpk just make sure you tap the thread right personally i choose steel over plastic for the fact being i have no idea of the pressure ratings of pvc and other plastics and not only that ive seen what it takes for a tapped thread in 2mm steel to fail.

how about filling a balloon with propane so you can more accuratly guess the amount of propane you are putting in your chamber I will try this today. just stick a peice of a tooth pick in openning of the bottle put a balloon over it and press down on the tooth pick from inside the balloon

If you are thinking of using the toothpick to trigger the propane bottle, it is not strong enough. Use the hose from a bbq tank or put it over a torch head. The best way to pop it would be to put a screw in the breech plug.
