ALMOST
From Scrap Combustion

My intent here was to make a combustion spud gun entirely from scrap. I ALMOST did it, but I couldn't find a very safe alternative for a barrel.

The chamber was mad from a JIF peanut butter jar and a 2-liter bottle. The 2 liter was heat shrunk over the jar and then a 3x2" reducing coupling, which was attached to a 2" threaded breech loading assembly and a 1-1/2" SCH-40 barrel. Then, the chamber was wrapped in fiberglass resin and mat, and then electrical tape, which I can't get off now. :x A chamber fan is set-up and it has lantern igniter ignition. Here are a few pictures:

That's it. Just my own little version of insanity.

After seeing this on SpudTech I could not wait for it to get here. They don't like my award on there for some reason...

So anyway, without further ado...

I very proudly present Markfh11g with the highly respected Ghetto Award for his amazing use of household materials to create an incredible work of art.

I need to make a gallery of these Ghetto winners... :P
