 What do you think, do you think i could make a Snow Ball Launcher? Send me ideas i need help. :?

 I could like freeze the snow into iceballs, but i don't want to do something that explodes, so the iceball blows to pieces. :(

 Boy if i make it it's gonna be fun to shoot it at my next-door-neibor. Now that sounds fun!

Well, just mold snow into pipe the same size as the barrel. That's what I do in the winter.

Probably shouldn't freeze snowballs if you're going to shoot someone with them.
I dont think I would like to get hit with a chunk of ice going 100+fps.

Remember that PVC becomes brittle when it is cold.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Yes, but if you're going to shoot it at anyone use LOW pressure and don't pack it too hard otherwise its more like firing a lump of ice.

In fact its best not to shoot it at anyone but if I did I'd use about 30psi for my cannon.

if you got some extra pipe the size of your barrel of around cut like a 4 inch piece of that epoxy it to something like plastic or metal... just as a base, and fill it with water and freeze it... perfect, mostly free.

I woulnt really use it in the snow, as Insomniac said PVC does become brittle in the cold. You could use some cooper for the chamber, and some PVC warped in towels and then tape to the length of the barrel.

And also I wouldn't advise shooting it and you friends, a ice ball going 150+fps isn't fun to get hit with

I use my PVC cannon in winter, hasn't failed yet.
Hehe, I shot a snowball at my neighbor once, it looked like it wasn't going that fast, but just as he ducked behind his snowblower it hit the thing and exploded into a 5' wide snow cloud.
I hit him with a crab apple once when he was mowing his lawn too, but he was too exited at the though of using the thing in paintball to be mad.

PVC wouldn't be safe, and metal is heavy. So, maybe it could just be a stationary type affair.

Ice or hard packed snow could be a good projectile, but it would suck being hit with it. Although maybe a combustion with a large diameter barrel, or some sort of device to restrict the flow of gases could help reduce the pressure, and maybe allow the use of a softer projectile so it wouldn't get torn apart.
I'm weird, I know it, you don't need to tell me.
