ways to air out a cannons
in my opinion... a simple project box with batteries, an led and a switch... that even a monkey could set up adds alot to a combustion unit. makes it look cool and shows that you actually put a little something extra into it. so why not hook up a fan to this?? Call me crazy... but fans are pretty much the best way to vent air... as well as mix fuel... hmmmm.
Canadian prices here... so if you are in U.S. it will be a little cheaper.
- Project Box - $5
LED - $1
Switch - $2
9V Battery - $2
Fan - $5
Total... $15

yeah i use an 80mm fan with a timer so i press the button it switchs on then switchs of 30secs later
i think it is prob the best way and cheapest - as other things are using one way valves and compressed air to vent the chamber which will cost a lot more and more time consuming to fiddle with all the extra parts
stick with the fan - like Talon said.

You can get computer case fans pretty cheap, free if you find a computer thats being junked ( even find an 80mm in the Power Supply of the computer) most of them are 12v fans. Pick up a Vantec tornado, they are 80mm at 84 cfm ea, for about 16.00 $ american. They also have 92mm version that pumps just under 100 cfm. I run 6 x 80mm in my computer to keep the processor temps down to about 32c.
haha dude ur a moron but... whatever floats your boat. lolƒlying$pud wrote:This may sound a bit lame but once i've fired it i take off the cap and grab the barrel and chamber so its horizontel and spin around and around and around and around and around and around and around until i fall over.Jk. I basically used all garbage for my fan and box. I found an old case for the small tapes used in video cameras. These look pretty cool if you paint them, plus they hold eveything pretty comfy and you can add the switch wherver. I had an old junk PC, grabbed the fans out, and the nine volt I found in an old RC car, just cut the hook up out of it.
I used wires from a set of old subs and wired it up. I only spent like 2 bucks for the switch, but not everyone has this junk laying around.

Umm... put the fan in the back of the chamber homie.
my chambers 6" so the fan dosent fill the whole chamber and i got mine out of metal so it dont melt.
i've had a couple plastic fans and they only lasted about 30 shots but i think i got soft plastic or positioned the fan wrong i dunno but definitely go with the metal cause it more heavy duty and it last alot longer
