This is my most recent cannon i have made. It's a truck air tank fitted with a 1 1/4 inch ball valve and a 2 inch by 5 ft long barrel. I know it's not much compared to some i have seen on here but it sure packs a punch at just under 100psi. :D Before you ask, that is a safety harness i am wearing because it was the only way i could hold it up Lol

Yea it is just a bit on the heavy side but its gunna weigh alot more when i upgrade. I can get hold of an air tank twice the size and a bigger ball valve, up to a 12" i think.

Judas Priest!!! Its no surprise that you have a harness on, LOL, its huge. good goin', would love to witness a launch in person. Keep us posted on the upgrades, should be interesting to see. As a truck driver, I love to see truck parts used for such awesome projects, big tasks require big tools.

On the subject of distance, i am really not sure as i still need to get the pressure alot higher. Im currently using a very small compressor and it does the job to get it to 100psi. But im working on a remote firing mechanism so i can force alot more air in and not have to be anywhere near if/when the tank explodes :!: :P :P but i shall keep you all updated on how it goes and i shall post my newest edition on here soon.
