As far as federal laws go, I am not aware of any limits.

As far as state laws go, my understanding is that Il is fairly restrictive, generally, in regards to guns. (And I know that pyramid air cannot ship airguns over 750 fps (or something) to private individuals in that state... has to go to a FFL)

And Chicago is pretty restrictive when it comes to guns.

But that's firearms, and these are spudguns - and, honestly, they are not regulated the same.

In canada i know that anything is a legal firearm and must be registered after 490fps, and how powerfull the gun will be all depends on the size, fuel, and what you shooting
