I just built my first mini, and it is the first combustion I have built. I guess it is the switch from pneumatic to combustion, but I hate not having a spark every time. I mean, barely a spark every 10 times I try, maybe 4 or 5.

So, is there a way to make a homemade ignition source, say from batteries?

For a mini, i would think a camra flash ignition would be more in line.

Wait... I just take off the flash tube, solder some extra wire onto the terminals, hook up the battery pack and push the button? That is it? I thought it was way harder than that!

HOLY SHIT. I just scared the damn hell outa me, dear god...

I got the camera circuit out, right? Poking around with pliers, hit the capacitor with em and SNAP. Holy fuck. Jumped a MILE and chucked the pliers across the room. Got a REAL NICE spark, though, holy hell...

My problem now is getting the tube off, because the capacitor is bent over it and I'm sure as hell not touching that thing again.
