As I try to do some research here I get a lot of internal thread links that don't work. I've seen that on other forums where they update their software. Are there any tricks to access that old information or links?

e.g.:
No route found for "GET /forums/valve-trouble-t14475.html"

I don't suppose there's a way for PCGUY to automatically update all the broken links?

I've been through this before, and frankly, it's an awful lot of work and a proper pain in the rear to do correctly.

There's a regular expression out there to do it, but regular expressions suck. :p
Not to mention "checking your work" is the hardest part.
