That is a great gun for using parts that are sitting around! Check the pressure ratings on all of your parts. If they're anything near that of copper, you could take the gun to obscene pressures! I hope to see more cannons from you if that's only your first one!
thanks mate for thatorigin unknown wrote:That gun makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside... Is that a butterfly valve or a ball valve? Sometimes I just can't tell the difference between the two types of valves from the outside. Beautiful gun! I wish I had a mini that nice looking and simple.
Prosniper: you can get 1/8" copper from Lowes, its there...

Oh yeah, I forgot...
About a week ago I was able to bring it up to about 140-150 psi with my friend's manual pump... The ammo went right threw 3 bean cans
I know 150 psi is kind of dangerous but i just had to try it!

LOL, but remember, your cannon is made out of copper, and his is PVC... which is a big difference in pressure ratings!

VERY clean, and nice first HOWEVER you should try more pneumatics, and thy modded sprinkler valves, THEN! piston vales, and coaxial cannon
please do no bring up old topics. no more than 3 weeks unless you have something really important to say (some thing other than nice gun)
