Ive been workin on this for a couple of days, and put it all together today. it is a modification of my other laser. and this one is adjustable.

It is a piece of 20mm PVC, with 2 screws at the bottom with flat heads so i can glue it onto my sprinkler. Then there is 4 screws near the back, which hold the back of the laser, still allowing the front of it to move.

I then put 2 screws at the front, one for windage and one for elevation.

There are a few downsides to this, it probably wont be accurate(i dont think so anyway), you can only move the laser down or to the right, if you want up or to the left you unscrew the screw and then push the laser.

here are some pics

I used a very similar system (using wooden rings instead of PVC, but still using screws to hold a laser pointer centered like that) on a simple sprinkler valve pneumatic ages ago. It worked well but proved easy to knock out of alignment. Also, I found that the gun wasn't accurate enough to really use a laser sight - unless you don't mind 12" spreads from 50 ft.... I still have it in my shed somewhere but the PVC is old enough now that I'd be hesitant to pressurize it.

Back on topic, very nice design and nice implementation. How accurate is the gun you're attaching it to? How are you mounting the sight setup onto the gun?

My suggestions: Paint it and get shorter screws so it looks more clean and compact :)

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

I like it, and nice jobs with the screws as adjusters, well thought out
and costructed. Like Pete said, paint would be good. I personnaly would go with matte black, but almsot any color would be good.

Now then, about the title....
Bad Mr. russ, bad! *smacks up side the head* Din't yo mama teach you that capitols in the tital was annoying. Bad! *smacks*
Seriosly though, its not a big deal, just the capitalized tital is a but annoying.

Its okay soldier lol.
I really was just kidding its no big deal. I just felt like writing more of a short action sequence then suggesting you change it in a simple sentence. course maybe the sentence would have been better...

I think that you should somehow attach the bolts to the laser in such a way that they can still turn, but you don't have to push the laser inside the casing to move it back. I'm not completely sure how that would be done, but it would really improve it in my opinion. Other than that, nice job! I think it is pretty creative. I don't think I would have thought of that...

i could just put more bolts on the other sides but that would look ugly.

i dont mind having to push it back, not to much of a hard thing to do. very hard to OVER tighten them so i have to turn them back but meh
