Buy un-regulated cannon, fake a blow up (or wait till it does blow up), then contact the retard that sold it to you and tell him you will sue if he does not fork out $3 million in cash!
And I have to wonder if he even tests his cannons since he is still alive.

That was me, I removed it.Hotwired wrote:Mmm... I think the guy who owns the site stuffed an advertising link for that shop at the bottom of the Wikipedia spud gun page.
Someone else removed it not long ago when I forgot to and I'm not sure I can find the will to trawl through all those edits since to find him.
I also hate how they are ripping text from the spudding handbook without proper references.
NO! That would just create even more bad press!!!!Novacastrian wrote:This could be a good opportunity to make a S*&^load of cash.

He does has a pop-off valve for the gun, but what if it fails? And it is such a waste of co2. This guy has no sense.
@MaxuS Alerting the police I'm afraid would only make matters worse. More bad press for spudding. You just know they would twist it saying that it was because spudguns just aren't safe, and thats why the company should be shut down. We all know this isn't true, but what does that mean to the media? Nothing. They will destroy an entire hobby just to make a little extra cash. Such scum, such scum...

I purchased a twister from that website a couple of months ago. It is an awesome gun and shoots close to how far they claim. Id say the potato went about 250 yards at 80 psi. The only bad thing was the paint scratched easy when dropped or knocked around.
Really?
I doubt 250 yards, especially with a ball valve. It might just look far, but it really isnt.

It was around 250 yards. The ball valve on it is one I've never seen before. I think it's called a union ball valve. It opens very quick and easily. It also unscrews and comes off so you can clean and oil it.
ok but what about the DWV fittings on it??

Doesn't union ball valve mean it has a union on one or both sides? If its called a ball valve doesn't is mean is has a ball with a hole through it connected to a lever?
Such as this
I fail to see how the union makes it open faster. Can anyone shed some light?
EDIT: I also find it strange how your first 2 posts have been supporting this cannon, you wouldn't happen to be the owner of that website would you? Coincidence? i think not.....

There are no DWV fittings on it. The ends of the fittings have sch. 40 printed on them.
Yes, there is a union on one side and it is a ball valve. The union allows the user to slightly loosen the ball, allowing it to move faster and easier. This lets a little air leak out, but not enough to make a difference unless you let it sit there for hours and slowly let it all bleed out. And a loaded cannon is dangerous, so this is not recommended. A little 3 in 1 oil also speeds it up. This fast 2'' opening lets more air out faster, letting it shoot faster than a moded sprinkler valve.
