Wow!the dates on this subject go really far baaack!!!Any ways, though propane and other such gasses seem to be rhe most convenient for on board fuel systems;and providing for optimal power, I use heptane aka dipropyl methane or heptyl chloride. It has a vapor density of 3.5,rated R-11with a flashpoint between 73-100*degrees F. Interestingly it is also the zero pont for octane ratings....blah blah blah.any hoo it has been REALLY interesting Using Heptane as a spud propellant, I have used numerous aerosols (all the populars as well as some uncommons). I've shot spuds for years , but have only recently become aware of the web world of spud shooter(s) & technologies

Urban Ninja: just barely tap the nozzle on the starter fluid ,most of them run in the ballpark of a LEL of 1.1% to a UEL of @7%. HIGHLY flammable but a n all- together worthwhile propellant to keep fiddling with till you get it...

i'm currently using sillacone and pledge, smells good and is easy to clean, but it does leave a little foam build -up that moths can't resist

denatured alcohol all the way baby, just get spary bottle with a good mist. i use a
1' x 4'' chamber w/ 4.5' x 2'' barrel , and a 1' x 4'' chamber with a 2' x 3/4'' barrel (both pvc)
that 4'' into 3/4'' is too much of reduction, in my book, to constitue anything more powerful than denatured alcohol, pipe bomb waiting to happen.

You know how many combustible fuels there are out there? To many to be listed in a dinky poll. Honestly I dont feel like editing the poll everytime so one uses a different fuel. The original poster tryed to cover the general fuels.

O ya I forgot I use this fuel I found in my bomb shelter. Its used to both disinffect harmful radation, clean reverse omosis filters, and make my waffles have a little *kick* to them.

You should have included starter fluid and ether. I've been using starter fluid lately. I've figured out how to make fireballs on my old cannon.

starter fluid will work nice but it also will cause an eventual deterioration
of the pvc the way i've been told. just a caveat

OFF!!! the bug spray! it has to be in the aerosol can tho. This stuff works great! I put sum in a mini launcher i made and it worked realy powerfully
