I shot a 1" super ball from 50 feet away with my sprinkler pneumatic. Put a huge dent in the 1" plywood, and in 5 seconds, I was hit 3 times in the head with falling bits of superball (Falling, not bouncing back at high velocity

)! Funnest day of spudding ever... Not an accident, but I also shot a paddle ball ball, and lost it to a ricochet that carried it over my two story house!

I figured it was the possition of my ignitor. It must have made a hairline crack in the pipe when i drilled the hole.

Wow that is some really really really thin pipe, thinner then DWV, you must of used down-pipe or spouting, not a good choice.

I think that cannon exploded because of how thin the pipe was more than anything. Even for combustions, you should use at least DWV SCH 40 pipe.

I put a 10'' hole in the roof of my garage when I hit the pilot valve on my coxial. It had a hardened concrete and steel ball in it at 110psi. So I hopped up on my roof, cut it square patched it and put some spare shingles on it.
Nobody knows about it

They told me it was pressure rated an 100psi. We use it on the farm for pumping water at high pressures

Is the dam up hill or down hill to where you are pumping?

The ignitor definitely compromised the structural integrity of the pipe, but I agree with the opinion that it looks too thin to support pressure.

I agree, you can tell where the crack started from the pic.

I was working on my spray n pray science project in my lounge room. I had it loaded but forgot about it and I was testing my sparker coz it wasnt working properly. Everything wasnt pressure sealed with cement but closed off and held with epoxy. Id discarded what I thought was a finished canister of butane from a long nosed lighter in the chamber. No cap was on properly, my barrel was just curing from the epoxy an hour before and I was pressing a sparker. Not smart

.
Long story short, I had 3rd degree burns on my hands, 5 stitches between my thumb n finger, a lounge room covered in spud, a 15 minute case of loss of hearing, a broken cannon and a very pissed mother
