Im wondering if there is any ignition system that is not a stun gun(dad wont let me have one)That provides better performance than a BBQ ignitor at a reasonable price .I now about some but those dont seen easy to set up like the camera flash ignitors

There is nothing wrong with an ordinary bbq ignitor, i use it for minis up to and including at a 6x mix in my Hybrids, all one has to do is decrease the spark gap. You can even implement a spark strip using a bbq ignitor.
Plus they are dirt cheap.

You could always use a flint igniter.

Oh, and the other day, someone posted about a flyswatter igniter that he claims was pretty cheap to build.

The flyswatter was from ebay and I think one person said theirs didn't work. But they probably did it wrong.
I posted about the multi spark ignitor from cabelas, its $20.
Best bet is to make a spark strip with a BBQ lighter.

I've been using a dual spark setup with a BBQ igniter almost forever and it works great for me. I've always wanted to do a stun gun but haven't bothered because what I use is consistent and reliable. Same with a strip, I haven't bothered because what I use works well for me. It ain't broke so why fix it?

A car's spark plug is just an electrode gap which creates an airtight seal. You could use one, and I think many people do use them in hybrids, but they are an extra cost with little extra benefit in most cases.

The spark plug does nothing to increase the voltage/current.
