I don't think JSR could ever be possibly accused of imitation...

I've seen a couple of designs that look like they're loosely based on HEAL, and although that may be true, I myself took a lot of my design from other people's cannons, so it's equally likely that they took elements of their design elsewhere.

I'll admit that no single part of HEAL is completely original, but maybe if you tweak it enough, and bolt enough ideas together...
Still, there are very few completely original designs these days.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Agreed completely, that's what I think while trawling through Google patents. However, the skill really lies in taking existing concepts and adapting them to materials and techniques that one has at hand.

No no jack. True skill is creating a seemingly devastating and impossible to solve problem, along with the solution. Implement the problem somewhere, then save the day with your ingenuis and timely solution!

And then part of gun marketing is creating solutions that don't have a problem for them to solve, but their solution has it's own problems which then need a solution, which shouldn't have had a problem in the first place.

And now... stick your fingers in your ears to stop your brains oozing out.

Sorry for the late post. And sorry for that post, just kidding you know. I wouldn't doubt that there are a lot of coincidentally similar cannons, and this being the first I saw, I'm over the shock.
Proud to be the only kid on my robotics team with pneumatics experience.
