well i dont know if this has been done already or not but heres a pic its a simple desighn on the left is a "blast tube" thats what im calling it the bbq ignitor or stungun is at the back with 2 extra long screws on the right is the cartridge the dark blue thing is the projectile which in my case is a vortex football the light blue stuff is the gas propelent and and the green stuff is saran wrap taped on to hold the gas in basicaly you can make a few cartridges when your ready to fire just shake them up a little and slide down the blast tube where the screws will pierce the saran wrap ignite the gas im thinking of using 3in pipe for the blast tube and 2in for the barrel the red things are couplers which i will probaly wrap in foam to make it fit tight in the blast tube

does anyone have an idea if this will work

Something similar had been proposed here back in the glory days of spudtech.

Illustrations relevant to that thread can be found here.

Well, I don't know if this has been done already or not but here is a pic. It is a simple design, on the left is a "blast tube", that's what I am calling it.
The bbq ignitor or stungun is at the back with two extra long screws. On the right is the cartridge, the dark blue thing is the projectile (in my case a vortex football) the light blue stuff is the gas propellant and the green stuff is saran wrap taped on to hold the gas in.
Basically you can make a few cartridges then when you are ready to fire them just shake them up a little and slide them down the "blast tube" where the screws pierce the saran wrap and ignite the gas.
I am thinking about using 3" pipe for the "blast tube" and 2" for the barrel. The red things are couplers which I will probably wrap in foam to make it a tight fit in the "blast tube".

Does anybody have an idea if this will work?

Sorry, i thought you needed more help with your writing skills than with your cartridges- no offence.

If the screws have a current going through them as they pierce the saran wrap, I'd think so...
