When You pull back the light green thing it shuts off the gas in the rear, but opens in the front. As the propane travels through the yellow vented circular supports, it pushes the blue power tube / air nozzle. When it reaches a certain point, the air can rush through the center and into the hop-up chamber.

Say what?
Jesus saves, no need to pray
The gates of pearl have turned to gold
It seems you've lost your way

looks like it would work, though the green spool valve could easily be replaced with a blowgun, you'd probably get similar performance.

So I guess there will be no problem concerning the propane being in liquid state? If this works out, I hope for this gun to last a long time with 1 tank.

Tippmann created a (C-3) which ran off of propane, but it actually ignited the propane and air in a controlled chamber. The C-3 can get more than 20,000 shots off with a stubby coleman can. Thats it what gave me the idea to use a whole prpane tank.

I based this design I made off of those "Green Gas" airsoft guns which use propane and silicon lubricant. I think I will create this thing instead of buying a JG AUG with a whole lot of upgrades...

thanks for the input!

The COAL-MAN was to maintain copyright integrity :p

Will I have any problems with getting the spring tension just right? Or is there a reasonably broad range of strength the spring could have?

I know that propane has about 40-80 psi of gas, but does any body know the specific psi bottle propane is at?

Is it safe to use PVC as the main construction material?

-thanks-
