Eather is more powerfull, but a metered propane system would be better. However, considering that eather is a gas... METERED EATHER system!
yah one of the kids my cousin goes to school with decided to try using acetelene/oxygen mix in his new combustion(he had only used pneumatic before that) he ended up in the ER getting pvc shrapnel removed from his stomach ouch! so i would stick with ether or propane or butane if i were u so u dont die
well, yeah it was his first combustion and he wasn't experinced enough to know that acetlene would generate so much pressure. so i wouldn't recomend messing around with dangerous toys if ur not experinced in the matter
Well the acetlyene/oxy mix doesnt create too much pressure, its how it creates it. Propane deflagrates, a steady burn over the entire mix. Oxy/Acetylene detonates, an enormus pressure spike followed by a less powerrful burn. Its the same as high explosives compared to low explosives.

either is deffently more explosive, just as sure as my spelling is bad ! used in proper quanity it could be awsume ! size = cost, a can of starting fluid is about the same or less then a can of rite gaurd, and you don't have to use no where near the amout of fuel to get the same power-so metered either a real winner if done rite !!!
P.S.- any lab rats out there willing to try it keep us posted
P.S.S - I AM NOT REASPONSEABLE FOR ANYONE TRYING THIS NOR AM I RECAMENDING IT !!! BE WARNED THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS, AS ALL CUMBUSTABLES ARE!!!

but doesnt either eat away a pvc chambers so if it did u could use abs but i dont kn ow if trhe abs would handle the pressure of a higher perfomance fuel so im not sure

While it is true that ether is a non-polar solvent, it's also extreamly votile (boiling point <35*C... boils in your hand!) and the small amount you do inject will have a short residence time.
...in short, I'm saying it probably won't dissolve your chamber to any noticable degree.

Just so ya know, it's spelled spelled.
But yeah, there are a lot of people, even mods, who apparently don't know how to even spell ether. (And I thought the Spudtech Forums were bad with grammar!)
