Well, the rules for smallest potato gun should be the smallest total volume of the gun not it's length. It also needs to work.

That would be a good definition....as long as it was chamber volume. Since chamber volume determines the potential of the gun's power it would be unfair to award the smallest gun award to some one who had almost no barrel...
