Tom wrote:Thanks for the comments, I know my english is bad. But rather a good grammar then those stupid posts with alot of bad grammar. BTB I'm using pressure rated PVC pipe. I will dril a now hole for the projectile block to make the chamber bigger.

I'm sorry I guess I don't understand what you mean by that..."projectile block?"

Is that sarcastic?
It's a bolt that prevents the projectile from rolling down in the chamber.

Yup, just a bolt screwed through will do the job.
Where are you gonna place it? Halfway?
I would recommend to place it a bit behind halfway, so that it comes near a 0,8:1 C:B ratio

there is no point in "shortening the barrel" because the barrel and chamber are all one piece, just one long piece of pipe. What he is going to do is move the projectile block up some, so that the C:B ratio is better

Today I have tested IT

. It works very well, better than I thought it would do. I don't know how far it shoots, but it's very loud(and thats is very important

. Thanks for all the help
Tom
PS: I will post the pics in the launchers section soon.

you should hear mine, lol. its a 6.28L combustion chamber running into a 2m long 65m barrel. it shot a tennis ball at about 625km/h. through a 4 inch foam pillow, through a milk crate and then finally through 1/2 inch mdf wood. lol its a nice one. melts the tennis balls though so they only last about 5 - 10 shots if you dont lose it before that.

Sounds nice. But especially for combustions the golden rule = noise is wasted energy.

meh, it still shoots a tennis ball heaps far. distance shot at a 5 degree angle to the parallel into a slight head wind was 180m. i have that on video. i also have a vid of it shooting through half inch wood.
lol. noise may be wasted energy, but it makes up for it with fun.
